FINALLY!!!!
Besides having Sephora here in Singapore, well been eyeing on few things like Two Face Shadow Insurance and some other junkies, there are still some makeup products that I’m dying to have such as Everyday Minerals, Bare Minerals, ELF brushes (only the Eyeshadow and Blending brush!) but too bad makeup store in Singapore doesnt carry them yet.
However, one way or another, there has to be these brands one day in Singapore right?!!
And guess what I found in Bugis Junction.
EVERYDAY MINERALS!!!!!

I almost screamed for joy when I saw the Everyday Mineral logo. It’s quite pricey though but since I’m a huge fan of mineral makeups, can’t hesitate to buy la. Please la. A makeupgeeek like me gotta do what we gotta do. O.o
This has to be the BEST makeups stuff I have ever purchased. Syuh syuh MAC. You no longer in my list anymore. Kidding.

So I chat with the sales assistant while swatching the products on my hands, according to her, the company (she work with) just brought in Everyday Minerals product in Singapore which means whatever laid in front of my eyes are the first batch in Singapore. I thought to myself that’s cool. And according to her, the company just got approved to bring in the Everyday Minerals product to Singapore.
The sales assistant was so nice the whole time! She was patience enough with me when I was in the indecisive mode while choosing the foundation that suits my skin. *sweats*
I got mine matte foundation in Beige Natural.

And I also bought their Blusher in Apple.

To top it off, if you spend $35 and above, you will be given 2 free brushes from ELF!!!! 1113334GGhHHHfdeirirhjdjsj
I went home as a happy makeupgeeek ok!!
Now come to the review for these 2 products. Wait, Everyday Minerals foundation can be a little bit confusing because there’s way too many types of foundation for different skin tone etc. Check on reviews to know which suits you the most ok!
I choose Matte Foundation in Beige Natural because, I prefer my foundation to be non-sheer, non-shimmery, I mean, when you say natural, there’s not suppose to be any shimmery, glittery on your face. Look at your natural bare face after washing, do you see any glittery looks??? So matte it is.
I’ve read from reviews especially from Xteeener that either Golden medium or Olive medium suits for Asian skin.
That’s what I decided to get at first, but upon few swatches on my face, good gracious, I kinda freaked out. It doesn’t matched my skin at ALL!! I find it too dark for me. I was a little bit disappointed because all this while I thought Golden medium and Olive is for Asian.
And when I swatched Beige Natural on my face, I can’t see anything but perfect coverage. See, one thing when it comes to applying foundation, it has to be natural that you can’t even see anything after applying.
For example, a tanned skin person but apply lighter foundation on, this will result to “opera singer” result. O.o
or a fair skin person but apply 1 shade darker foundation, will result “kuih lapis” because the face is darker but the neck is lighter. O.o
When testing any foundation or looking for perfect color for your skin, do not swatch on your hands but for your own sake, swatch on your face, cheek area, jaw line.
Now for the Blusher, I choose Apple because I love the color. And it’s highly pigmented! I think the Blusher is gonna last me forever…

As for the foundation, the coverage is perfect. Even better than my Revlon Colorstay liquid foundation. Very pigmented too and it won’t clog the pores as oppose to liquid foundation.
Above all, Everyday Minerals is worth buying product and which I would highly recommend, well if you interested getting one.
My ratings : 5/5
Thats how awesome that stuff is.
What is so great about minerals?

Mineral makeups is natural that it is made of fine ground of minerals from the earth. There’s no chemicals, preservatives, there’s no need to preserve pieces of rock right? And it gets even better, it doesn’t have any expiry date!

And Mineral makeup is also a good choice if you have sensitive skin and great for any skin type. Did I mentioned it won’t clog pores? Because it’s powdered makeup, so it doesn’t absorbed into the skin.
Which is a really good thing.
Now the good news is, you can get your hands on these makeups too!! This is specifically for my readers from Malaysia/Sarawak. You know how pain in the ass is it to get these amazing makeups in Malaysia right? Dont fret, here’s a local website where you can FINALLY try Everyday Minerals products! Well, they have some other products too, suit yourself darlings!!
I would recommend you to try the Loving sample kit first which is only RM30. Original price is RM37.50 and I think the sample jar would be sufficient for first beginner.
Email her if you have anything to ask(lovely@lovingminerals.com). And I think you can opt for fund transfer if you find it hassle to pay by credit card. I know not everyone own one. Free delivery above RM100!
Fuh. I think that’s all for now. Didn’t plan for a long post. -_-
